Green Valley Stables
Lessons
Lessons are available on your own horse or on our horses. Lesson plans are suited to each rider based on their skill level, needs, and goals.
Samantha is able to provide lessons in both English or Western style riding for beginners and up! Never ridden? No problem, she can teach all the basics! She believes that safety comes first in any riding endeavor and also supports a strong foundation in equitation and balance no matter the discipline.

In-hand, ground work, and liberty lessons are also available. Have a problem horse? Learn to work with your horse and solve the problems rather than send them off to a trainer. Want to learn tricks or make daily tasks easier or safer? Schedule a lesson!

Meet Our Lesson Horses:

Reno
Reno is a palomino BLM Mustang in his early teens. He is very patient and great with kids. He enjoys riding bareback and trail rides. He is around 15 hands tall and built thick which makes him the perfect height for both kids and adults. He loves to be groomed and loved on.

Duke
Duke is a taller gentleman who is 19 years old. He's an easy going dude who is super fun to ride. Duke is beginner friendly but used for intermediate level lessons because of his knowledge level. Duke rides english or western and knows how to pivot, side pass, opens gates, etc. He's got a super smooth canter and can take a rider to the next level. Duke LOVES shodeo events and has learned to jump also!

Ranger
Ranger is a blue roan BLM Mustang in his early teens. He's a crowd favorite with his sturdy build and beautiful coloring. He is way more woah than go and is happy to just walk around. He is very curious and friendly. He is great with kids and very brave. He is not a fan of man-made obstacles, so we are working to expose him to these more.

Sisco
Sisco is a 7 year old Quarter Horse gelding. He has been used for english, western, obstacles, showmanship, and worked a sale barn in the past. His varied knowledge makes him perfect for our program. He's very sweet with kids and not much bothers him. He jumps regularly and enjoys trail rides.
Bo
Bo always helps us out with Birthday Parties and a few lessons. He was bought as Samantha's husband's first horse and has taught many kids and adults how to ride. He's a steady-eddie and loves to hang out, get brushed, and snack on treats. Bo is not the most athletic horse but is easy to get along with.

Montana
Montana is a been-there / done-that type of horse. She is in her older teens and isn't phased by much. She's very brave and willing when it comes to obstacles or new things. She's new to our lesson program but has proved her worth early on. She takes care of her riders and always tries hard. She's here for the good life and we plan to pamper her.
Bowie
Bowie is an 11 year old registered thoroughbred (Samauri Joey). He is a big sweetheart who loves attention and is always the first one at the gate. He was previously used for western play-days, trail rides, and obstacles. He does like to go and is perfect for jumping and western speed events. He is still getting into the swing of things here in our lesson program but is very willing and easy to get along with.
